A private wilderness, kept by few.
By invitation. Booked exclusively through FE Outrider.
Skyfall is not open to the general public. We host a single party at a time — no more than eight guests — across two of the most distinct landscapes in Texas. Bookings are arranged personally.
Five hundred acres of East Texas, ninety miles southeast of Dallas.
Forty-five acres of flooded timber. A thirty-one acre private lake. Ten acres of moist-soil units. A mile and a half of Trinity River shoreline. Land assembled and shaped, year by year, to behave the way ducks expect it to.
Skyfall sits in the heart of the Trinity flyway. We hunt over flooded timber that draws woodies on a clock; over moist-soil management units where mallards, pintails, and teal feed heavy; and from custom shore blinds along the lakes and marshes. Off-water, our whitetail program is fair-chase across hardwood corridors and food plots that were placed with intention — wind, light, and pattern, never convenience.
The ranges are not an afterthought. They were designed and run by retired SF Veterans — close friends of the founder — who had a hand in every line on the property. Rifle, pistol, carbine, shotgun. Instruction, when wanted. Quiet, when not.
Waterfowl
Flooded timber, moist-soil, marshes, and shore blinds. Mallard, pintail, teal, gadwall, wood duck. Mornings cold and the birds working.
Whitetail
Native East Texas whitetail. Stands placed over years of scouting. Hardwood corridors, food plots, secluded ridgelines. Fair chase, no fences.
Thermal Hog
Every itinerary includes a night run. NVGs, thermal optics, real East Texas pigs. The trip you'll talk about over breakfast.
A second base, in the Chinati Mountains.
In partnership with Cibolo Creek Ranch, we keep a second base in West Texas — a restored 19th-century stronghold in the Chinati Mountains, on the Mexican border.
El Fortin de la Cienega was once a frontier garrison, built to hold against Comanche raids. Today it is meticulously preserved — 19th-century walls, modern beds, and a kitchen that knows what to do with what was shot. From here we hunt some of the most cinematic terrain in North America, at distances that test patience as much as they test skill.
The mountain works on you. Three days, four nights. By the second morning, the rest of the world has gone quiet.
Skyfall is not a hospitality business. It is a private reserve that happens to receive guests — a place built by one man, his best friends, and answerable only to the land itself.
